Happiness and Contentment

 What really makes you happy?

  Life's happiness isn't always being rich, popular, talented, gorgeous, genius or whatever kind of big accomplishment you had, I have a friend who is very popular in school during our high school days. She is very talented, rich, with beauty and brain. Then one day she came to me asking if I am happy with my life right now? My answer is ... What?! Yes of course I answered. Why did you ask that? She simply cried in front of me, then one by one she tells me all her problems. She doesn't know why. Inspite of all her popularity she said, why she is not contented with her life as if theres something missing. She talks about her strict parents, the driver that fetch and send her to school. She said that she has no freedom. I don't know what to advise to her. I've just told her that she was so blessed because her parents are rich. She is beautiful and talented too and even had a good grades.

  In our life's journey, if you are not strong and not spiritually guided by our Lord Jesus Christ, our life would be empty. There is this feeling of longingness. We don't know what to do, just empty.

  In this section I have some list on how to be happy and contented with what kind of life you have right now and try to apply it in your daily lives.

How to be Happy and Contented with your life

1. Accept

  • There are things in life that are not meant the way we want it to be. Things that are not going on our way. You just have to Learn with it, Live with it, Accept it.

2. Discover

  • Who you are right now is because of what would be your purpose in life is. Even how simple our life is, our own ability differentiate us with one another. We are created with purpose, you just have to discover it.

3. Create

  • Have time with your friends, contribute something with your community. And most importantly indulge your self into something that will satisfy your inner you. Create your own happiness.

4. Relax

  • When your being burn out, relax. Allow yourself to have a break - pull some chair, sit tight or grab some pillows and take a nap. Just relax.

5. Pray

  • Lastly, Pray and  always asked for guidance from Him. He is our creator and He knows what is best for us.
